Check out the UKD Season 4 thread for all the latest gossip and post your views and what you think the answers could be.
New video from The Ting Tings. Great DJ, currently Jo Whiley's track of the week on Radio1, is released later this month, with the album dropping in March.
As the promo for Leona's album release in America begins, here is her video remake of Bleeding Love. I hate how all UK artists have to record videos to appeal to the U.S. market, but yet American artists dont do the same. Enjoy anyways.
New video from Kylie. Wow, the 2nd single to be released from her 'X' album is currently number 28 in the UK chart on downloads alone. Sounds and looks more like a Kylie video should.

Crash, the racially charged drama that won the Oscar for best picture of 2005, is hitting the small screen this summer on the US network Starz.
The film's director, co-writer and producer, Paul Haggis, will lead the show's creative team as executive producer along with actor Don Cheadle, who starred in and shared a producer credit on the movie.
Starz programming executive Stephan Shelanski said there is a "strong possibility" that Cheadle will reprise his film role as a police detective for the "Crash" TV series, which he said would basically pick up where the film left off.
The series will begin shooting this spring and is expected to premiere as early as August 2008, Shelanski said. The premium cable channel, owned by John Malone's Liberty Media Corp, has ordered 13 one-hour episodes to start.
Heath Ledger may have died of natural causes, according to police sources in America.
Showbiz site TMZ has been informed by those close to the investigation that it’s likely the star had a heart attack.
They say toxic levels- from prescription drugs- were found at such low levels that it’s unlikely Ledger took an overdose.
The 28 year old died last Tuesday January 22 with media speculating Heath committed suicide because anti depressants and sleeping tablets were found in his room.
A small memorial service was held in Los Angeles on Saturday with close family and friends in attendance.
The Brokeback Mountain actor’s funeral is expected to take place this week in his hometown of Melbourne.

Yesterday, Cheryl told Ashley that she wanted him to leave their home in Oxshott, Surrey, while she considers the future of their relationship.

With a Brit award under her belt already and her 1st single sitting at number 2 in the charts is clear to see why she is regarded as one of the hottest acts of 2008.
Amy Winehouse has checked into Rehab to battle her addiction to crack cocaine and other drugs.
Her label Universal released a statement saying: “Amy decided to enter the facility today after talks with her record label, management, family and doctors.”
On Tuesday The Sun newspaper released footage of the singer smoking Crack after allegedly taking ecstasy, cocaine and valium.
Her father Mitch has said he was so worried about Amy that he asked authorities to section her.
The statement continued: “She has come to understand that she requires specialist treatment to continue her ongoing recovery from drug addiction and prepare for her planned appearance at the Grammy Awards.”
However Wino’s appearance at the US awards- where she is nominated for 6 statues- could be in doubt. It will be hard for the star to get a Visa after her latest drugs episode.
Any normal fledgling actor might be overwhelmed starring alongside screen legends like Robert De Niro and Al Pacino, but this is Curtis ’50 Cent’ Jackson we’re talking about.
Speaking to MTV News at the Sundance Film Festival Myspace party, he told us why he enjoyed himself so much on set: “I get a chance to feel normal when they’re around. I watch people get intimidated by their celebrity opposed to mine at some points, and that’s fun for me”.
We asked him to think back 5 years to when he released ‘In da Club’. Did he ever think he’d be at Sundance as a movie star? “I didn’t actually see it this far, but you know every time I accomplish something I recreate new goals - I’m going through a tunnel that doesn’t end!”
Righteous Kill is due for release in the US in April.

Here is the 1st single from UK singer Duffy, another hottly tipped artist to break through in 2008. If this is anything to go with then I dont think she will struggle, at all.

Pharrell, Chad and Shay will be releasing their 3rd studio album "N.3.R.D" this Spring. The 1st track to leak from the album, Everybody Nose, is aimed at the clubbers. Typical N.E.R.D track with wicked production and very random lyrics, its not confirmed as a 1st single, but certainly a taste of what to expect.
The actor Heath Ledger was found dead this afternoon in an apartment in Manhattan, according to the New York City police. Signs pointed to a suicide or an accidental overdose, police sources said. Mr. Ledger was 28.
The Australian, famous for his role in Brokeback Mountain, stars as the Joker in the latest Batman movie released in the summer.
UKD would like to send their wishes to Heaths family. R.I.P.

Undisclosed sources close to Shady Records have revealed that Eminem's label is in talks of signing Jersey City, New Jersey rapper Joe Budden. The move might be shocking to some, as Budden is remembered for lyrically sparring with then-Shady-related artists in the past such as 50 Cent and The Game.
With the release of his Mood Muzik 3 at the close of 2007, Budden attacked Def Jam and its then-president Jay-Z for holding the rapper's career back. Subsequently, Budden was released from contract after being since to the label for over six years shortly before Jay-Z left. Despite three acclaimed mixtapes, the aforementioned last of which will be sold in retail stores through Amalgam Entertainment, Budden has not released an album since 2003's self-titled release which reached gold status.
If a deal does go through with Shady, Budden will be an established label acquisition, joining 50 Cent and The Alchemist. In the past, Shady had courted signing both Mobb Deep and Pharoahe Monch, but failed to reach agreement. Talks of the deal will likely be halted to yesterday's reported hospitalization of Eminem.
Michael Eavis has said a big US urban star is heading for the muddy fields of Glastonbury this year.
We can only speculate that it is either Kanye West- who tours with a large band and played V Festival last year- or Jay-Z who is likely to tour in support of his American Gangster album.
Our outside bets include gorgeous Rihanna and rump-shaking Crazy In Love diva Beyonce.
Glasto head Eavis told the BBC he wanted to appeal to young people and said: “I'm putting on a black American headliner, who's absolutely terrific that's going to appeal to those people.”
The bearded farmer added that he hoped Amy Winehouse would perform.
Eminem suffered a heart scare after complications with pneumonia over the Christmas period.
According to TMZ he was rushed to a Detroit hospital with a “serious heart condition and severe pneumonia.” The website also claims the rapper’s weight has increased to a serious 212 lbs in recent months.
His publicist released a statement saying: “Over the holidays, Marshall Mathers, aka Eminem, was under doctor's care at a Detroit-area hospital for complications due to pneumonia. He has since been released and is doing well recovering at home.”
Shady has not released any music since 2006’s Re-Up mixtape. It’s rumoured he’s working on a new album with his mentor Dr Dre.
Presenting the new artists set to make it big in 2008. An item we will feature throughout the month of January.
Meet one of 2008’s most exciting new talents. Even before she’s released a note of music – and at barely 19 – ADELE has already chalked up a Jools Holland appearance, worked with Jim Abiss, Eg White and Mark Ronson, signed to XL Recordings and supported Jack Penate, Raul Midon, Amos Lee and Devendra Banhart. A fan of such diverse artists as Jill Scott, Etta James, Billy Bragg, Peggy Lee, Jeff Buckley and The Cure, Adele’s soul-tinged songs of love’s lost and memories made are set to resonate with all who hear them. Adele is the featured New Artist of the Month on the UKD Blog.
Her debut album '19' is released on the 28th of January. Check out the video to the fantastic single 'Chasing Pavements', released 21st of this month.
As many had predicted, the Golden Globe awards have fallen foul of the ongoing writers strike. The 65th Golden Globe ceremony will now not happen in its usual starry, schmoozy, sycophantic way. Instead the 25 awards will be announced via press conference on January 13.
The Golden Globes had been hoping to make a deal with the WGA to allow the ceremony to go ahead, but the WGA refused and the Actors Guild instructed its members not to attend the event in support of their striking colleagues. A Golden Globes without any A-listers would have been a very dull event indeed. But the wider question is what this means for the Oscars. The Golden Globes is like a flea fart in a hurricane compared to the importance of the Oscars, but could we see the biggest event in the movie calendar not going ahead?
The Brit Awards nominations are set to be announced next Monday February 14.
Details of the event, at Camden Roundhouse, have been revealed with four live acts set to perform live.
Editors, The Hoosiers, Bat For Lashes and Adele- who will pick up the Critics Choice Award at the ceremony- will all play at the launch event.
The actual Brits ceremony will take place on February 20 at Earls Court in London where we will already predict wins for Arctic Monkeys, Radiohead and Amy Winehouse.
Best Male is likely to be contested by Mika, James Blunt and (if there’s any justice) Dizzee Rascal. We’d bet Best Female will be fought over by Kate Nash and Amy Winehouse.
Amy Winehouse's husband is said to have dealt with his wife’s absence over the festive period by slashing his arms in prison.
While Blake Fielder-Civil languishes in London's Pentonville Prison awaiting trial for grievous bodily harm and conspiracy to pervert the course of justice, Amy jetted off on holiday with an ex-boyfriend.
Now it’s emerged that Blake received medical treatment after he began self-harming because he was missing his wife.
Blake is also alleged to be the target of drug dealers who he allegedly owes money.
The Feeling are returning to the popscene with a new album out next month backed by a single and Spring tour.

DATES BELOW 07-Mar Birmingham Academy 09-Mar Bristol Academy 10-Mar Nottingham Rock City 11-Mar Newcastle Academy 13-Mar Manchester Academy 14-Mar Glasgow Barrowland 15-Mar Leeds University 17-Mar Southampton Guildhall 18-Mar Cambridge Corn Exchange 19-Mar London Shepherds Bush Empire

Looking for the next M.I.A? Then look no further than Ebony Bones! She spent 2007 playing a million shows in London that were more like a carnival than a gig and is now ready to take the rest of the world by storm. Her white label ‘We Know All About You’ (Record of the week on both Zane Lowe & Jo Whiley) sounds like nothing else being produced at this moment is time, all minimalist demonic beats that needle their way into your mind and percussion that sounds like its being played with kitchen utensils. With a wardrobe as eclectic as her influences she has the potential to be a huge star.
Really like this girl. Dresses a bit too much like Mika but her sound is so orignial, plus she would probebly get it! Look familiar? She was in the Five soap Family Affairs.
Album is released in the summer, check out her first video 'Dont Fart on My Heart'
The awards ceremony that's often regarded as the warm up for the Oscars could be cancelled. The Actor's Union says Hollywood stars won't show up for the Golden Globes to show support for those taking part in the writer's strike.
Michael Jackson is expected to announce a thirty night residency at the O2 Arena in London, according to reports.
The performances, which will take place later this year, will form part of Jackson's first tour in over a decade.
According to the News Of The World, Jackson will earn £30 million from the shows - £1 million a night.
If it happens, the residency will exceed Prince’s 21 shows at the same venue – formerly the Millennium Dome – last year.
Jackson is currently working on a new studio album alongside Black Eyed Peas star will.i.am, and recently collaborated with Kanye West on a remix of his infamous track, ‘Billie Jean’.

The cover is slightly incorrect cos i made a few last minute changes to the tracklisting so my apologies boys.
It was my aim to help people come outside the so called urban box , or watever box they chose to be within, i have tried to include a wide spectrum of tracks within this tape HIGH TEMPO , AND SLOW EMOTIONAL ONES ,I think the balance is near perfect , been listening to this play list on my ipod for a day or too and it flows perfectly in my humble opinionand no doubt sum of you wud have heard of a few artists but even if i reach one person and he./she likes a single track of this tape then my job is done I dont want to come off as a pretentious prick but a lot of us put a lot of time and effort in this project so the least you can do is download and post your reviews on it
